Stewardship & Events Manager – Development (full time, exempt)

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Stewardship & Events Manager is responsible for maintaining donor relationships; planning and executing all donor engagement events; and helping to manage departmental activities. This position will be a strategic thought partner for the Director of Development in the stewardship of donors and prospective donors and actively contribute to the growth of contributed revenue through one-on-one interaction, events, and all communication deliverables.

 

Development Operations Coordinator – Development (part time, non-exempt)

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Operations Coordinator will manage the processing of all donations and contribute to donor communications. Additionally, they will analyze data to interpret giving trends, maximize gift renewals, identify potential capacity for increased giving and opportunities for moves management, and identify lapsed donors for additional follow-up. This position will identify operational gaps in donor and institutional funder engagement and renewal, and target new areas of opportunity to advance effective, sustainable growth in contributed revenue.

 

Communications Manager – Marketing (full time/non-exempt)

The Communications Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and works with staff and artists at all levels of the organization. This person creates and implements communication strategies for both press and audiences and works to create “buzz” that supports tickets sales, enrollment, and bookings for Taproot’s performance and educational programs as well as promoting broad awareness of Taproot Theatre Company.

 

Group Sales and Subscription Lead – Box Office/Marketing (full time/non-exempt)

The Group Sales and Subscription Lead is a member of the Box Office team and is part of the ‘front line’ of contact with Taproot Theatre’s patrons. They are responsible for managing ticket sales to groups and processing annual subscriptions. The job includes other box office, marketing, and administrative duties as needed.

 

Box Office Lead – Box Office/Marketing (full time/non-exempt)

Box Office Representatives handle all ticket sales, maintain the constituent database, and are the ‘front lines’ of contact with Taproot Theatre’s patrons. The Box Office Lead has added responsibilities and acts as a back-up for the Subscriptions & Group Sale Lead.

 

Box Office Representative – Box Office/Marketing (part time/non-exempt)

Box Office Representatives handle ticket sales, maintain the constituent database, distribute will call tickets, help with seating or ticketing issues, and are the ‘front lines’ of contact with Taproot Theatre’s patrons.

 

House Manager – Front of House/Marketing (part time/non-exempt)

The House Manager oversees the front of house during performances. They are responsible for handling any issues that might arise with patrons before, during and after a performance, including but not limited to the following areas: seating, concessions, box office, maintenance issues, etc.

 

COVID Safety Officer – Front of House/Marketing (part time/non-exempt)

The COVID Safety Officer (CSO) is responsible for enforcing COVID safety protocols and rules at Taproot Theatrebefore, during, and after performances.  The CSO will verify proof of vaccination and photo IDs of patrons for venue entry. This person will also be the point person for patrons who would like more information on our COVID Safety Protocols and Rules.

Currently, all permanent Taproot staff participate in corporate prayer and self-identify as Christians.
